Did you know that Tenerife makes an appearance in one of the best-known Greek legends – The 12 Labours of Hercules. In ancient times when Greek scholars told tales of the Garden of Hesperides, they needed to place this mythical land beyond their known world. Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary Islands and also the most visited by tourists. With its stunning black and golden beaches, an active volcano, its unique ecological diversity (plants from all over the world can live and thrive in Tenerife's multiple climate zones), and its charming cliffside towns, it's no surprise that it's the most popular island of the group. Takefusa Kubo is edging closer toward Getafe and further away from Villarreal with every passing minute according to Diario AS.
The Japanese has earned few opportunities under Unai Emery this season and has decided his development would be better served by a move to Getafe than to stay at La Ceramica.
The player's resolve is clear. The only thing to be decided is an agreement between his parent club, Real Madrid, and Villarreal, which doesn't seem to be a problem given the feeling in Madrid is that they want Kubo to develop as well as possible.
A move to Getafe would also take him closer geographically. For Villarreal, it will free up space for winter reinforcements.
Jose Bordalas is said to be a big fan of the Japanese youngster and has the support of Getafe's board. It's thought their Copa del Rey clash with Cordoba on January 5th will come too soon but the trip to Elche following it could be a feasible debut.
Kubo leaves Villarreal having played 688 minutes across 19 games, figuring more in the Europa League than La Liga. He's contributed three assists and a goal this season.

Covid-19 preventive measures
The Canary Islands Government has updated measures against Covid-19 to prevent its spread. These are the most important points:
Mandatory use of face coverings
• In public spaces, which is to say on public roads, in open-air spaces and in any enclosed space for public use, or that is open to the public, while still maintaining a personal safety distance of at least 2 metres.
• In hospitality establishments and restaurants, bars and cafés. The only time when customers do not have to wear a mask is when they are consuming food or drink.
• In the workplace.
• In natural spaces or outdoors away from centres of population, you only have to wear a mask when the flow of people does not allow a safety distance of at least 2 metres to be maintained.
• On beaches and at swimming pools you are not obliged to wear a mask when bathing or while staying in the same place, without moving, and provided that respect for the interpersonal safety distance between everyone else can be guaranteed. It is obligatory to use a face covering when accessing, moving around and walking in these spaces and facilities.
• The owners of establishments, spaces and premises must ensure that their customers comply with these obligations.
• Correct use of masks is mandatory, meaning that they must completely cover the nose and mouth at all times. They should also be properly adjusted to the nose and chin to prevent any respiratory secretions being released into the environment.
- The use of a mask is recommended in private spaces, both open and closed, when meeting people from different households.
- Those at risk who cannot use a mask are prohibited from attending large events and acts.
General measures concerning safe capacities and distancing
- As a general measure, the minimum distance between people who are not living together is 2 meters.
- Being in public places between 23.00 and 06.00 is restricted.
- In the case of medical or health services, the capacity will be 75%.
- Hospitals and healthcare centres for the elderly – Given the outbreaks associated with health care in hospitals and social health care centers where older people reside (nursing homes) and the vulnerability of this population, visits and excursions are limited and must be supervised by centre staff. Established prevention measures will be strictly enforced. In hospitals, minors and pregnant women may receive visits. Those patients who have recovered from a Covid infection are exempt from this rule.
- The maximum number of people in family gatherings, in spaces for public or private use, closed or outdoors, except in the case of cohabitants even when the safety distance can be guaranteed is of 4 people. Those returning to the island to visit family are considered cohabitants in these circumstances. The maximum table size at bars, cafes and restaurants is 4 people.
- The maximum occupancy for places of religious worship, wakes, funerals or wedding ceremonies and other types of religious or civil celebrations is set at one third of the authorized capacity, while it will be 50% for celebrations that take place outdoors, setting a maximum number of 20 people in open spaces and 10 indoors. At burials, the maximum number of assistants will be 20 people, and five for cremation.
- Recreational centres for children, youth and neighbourhood associations remain closed.
- Visits to student residences are prohibited.
- Smoking, use of tobacco inhalation devices, water pipes, hookahs, shisha or similar is not allowed in entertainment, leisure, hotel and restaurant venues, including terraces. Smoking is not allowed on public roads.
- The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages on public roads is prohibited. Public gatherings for the consumption of alcohol are prohibited.
- Home or remote working is encouraged if at all possible.
